Between the 700 and 800 blocks of South Main Street - next to the Daniel Boone statue

During your visit, allow the warm and toasty smell of fresh roasted chestnuts to lead you to one of our enthusiastic chestnut vendors. Let them entertain you with their antics and witty banter while they demonstrate the art of roasting this favorite holiday snack (and for a small fee, enjoy one yourself - either as a tasty treat or as an old fashioned hand warmer). 

Main Street Church - 116 North Main Street

Display your creativity for all to see. Have some fun while competing for cash prizes, this year's theme is Candy Candy Candy. Come and visit the sugar-coated sights, sounds, and smells of Gingerbread Village. This year the village is an explosion of Candy Candy Candy.  See the wonderfully decorated gingerbread houses from the decorating contest hosted by Main Street Church and sponsored by Missouri Baptist University.

Kister Park Gazebo - 400 block of South Main Street

Nestled under the roof of the Kister Park gazebo, this bundle of mistletoe, holly, ribbon, and evergreen is recognized as one of the earliest holiday decorations adopted in America. Mistletoe is known to represent peace, love, and long-lasting happiness. So grab your sweetheart, share a hot chocolate, and pay a visit to the Kissing Ball this Christmas.

OPO Start Ups - 119 South Main Street

Head over to the Old Post Office to post your letter to Santa or any one of your favorite Christmas Legends. Visit the steps of the OPO and the big red mail-box to post your letter in style.

KATY Depot in Frontier Park - 500 South Riverside Drive

Santa and his elves have brought a little North Pole magic right here to Saint Charles. Step inside the beautiful historic KATY Depot in Frontier Park and find yourself inside Santa's Cottage and Train Land. Stop in to have your photo taken with Santa, visit with his elves, and explore the magic of Santa's Train Land courtesy of the Frenchtown Heritage Museum.

*Please note that Santa's Cottage & Train Land will be closed between 1:15 and 2:30 pm on Opening Day, Saturdays and Sundays during the festival, so that Santa can join his friends in the Santa Parade.


Everyone enjoys the chance to collect their favorite characters' trading card while visiting the festival.  Now you have the opportunity to be the star of your own personal card.  Step into one of our oversized trading cards and bring out your inner "character".  Grab a camera, strike a pose, and enjoy a one-of-a-kind souvenir to remember your visit to Saint Charles.
