St. Charles Christmas Traditions
November 29 - December 24, 2013
Close your eyes and listen to the sounds of holiday music from the Victorian Carolers and the fife and drum corps. Take in the scent of roasting chestnuts. Capture in your mind a time in America when life was simpler and Christmas was elegant and magical.
Welcome to Historic Main Street and Christmas Traditions!
This holiday celebration is staged in our charming village on the Missouri River. The street comes alive with Christmas Legends and Santas from around the world. Over 30 characters will join in the festivities, each wearing handcrafted clothing representing their heritage and carrying trading cards to give to visitors as a keepsake. Shop and dine along the historic brick-paved street, which is festively decorated with fresh greenery and hand-tied red bows.
View the 2013 Festival Guide, which lists the numerous activities and things to see and do during the Christmas Traditions festival. From the opening ceremony the day after Thanksgiving -- to late-night shopping and dining on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings -- to the Santa Parades on the weekends -- to the Spanish tradition of Las Posadas -- and everything in between leading up to the closing ceremony on Christmas Eve, there is so much for you and your family to enjoy this Christmas season in Saint Charles.
Come experience the magic of Christmas Traditions...where Christmas Past comes to life.
