All positions are paid at the starting rate of $11.00 per hour for performance dates and rehearsals. All applicants (except for Tiny Tim) must be 16 years of age by August 15, 2016. If cast, you will be required to complete pre-employment testing.
Christmas Characters: Acting experience is preferred, but not necessary. An outgoing personality and the ability to cheerfully interact with the public 'in-character' is essential! Applicants must be in good physical condition and able to walk short distances outdoors throughout the day/evening in all types of weather. For your audition, please prepare a memorized one minute (non-Christmas) comedic monologue.
Christmas Carolers (SATB): Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of experience singing in small and/or large ensembles, must learn music quickly, and have the ability to cheerfully interact with the public in all types of weather. For your audition, please prepare a verse and chorus of a Christmas carol to be sung a cappella.
What to Bring: Please provide one performance resume. Come with your calendar and/or availability for October, November, and December.
All applicants must be available Saturday and Sunday days, plus Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings from November 25 to December 24, 2016. Some conflicts can be worked around, but availability will be given strong consideration when casting.
