Missouri River Rendezvous coming to beautiful Klondike Park this October
The first annual Missouri River Rendezvous will be held October 28-30th at Klondike Park in the beautiful river hills and wine country of Augusta, MO.
The three-day event will focus on river related resources, art, education, recreation, research, stewardship and commerce along the Missouri River. The purpose of the event is to connect different citizens and groups working or interested in the Missouri River to leverage their passion and knowledge for a more connected river community.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend Missouri River presentations and activities in the park, take a boat ride on the Missouri River, participate in a guided hike through Klondike Park and tour one of the states oldest wineries in nearby Augusta, MO.
In the evening, participants can make s'mores around the campfire and listen to tunes by local musicians, Gloria Attoun and Michael Bauermeister. A Halloween-themed river social will be held Saturday night. The full campground is reserved for Rendezvous participants.
Saturday morning will feature 18 presenters discussing River Conservation, Culture, Community & Commerce along the Big Muddy.
